mmccall
Some time back can't remember who.. maybe within the past 2 years.. somebody mentioned a sheet metal program that could unfold and give the developed length of complex curved sheetmetal parts.. Think it came from one of the architect background users.. If I remember.. the web site of this product had some strange "y" shaped model.. Anybody remember this? cborer
Hi I unfold everything with Rhino. very complex shapes. But with zero thickness. But its easy to thicken to middle line and then export this face to Rhino. Rhino even shows a kind of bending lines. Rhino creates also perfect dxf files to get it back to IC or to the laser cutters. Good Luck Carlo See: http://www.carloborer.ch/?catindex=0&worki...jpg&lstyle=hell Edited February 24, 2006 by cborer
