Doug Gower
I tried to "repair" IronCAD with the CD install disk because files were not saving correctly and I thought there was a bad install. Now when I go to open IronCAD I get a message that the license is invalid. I've also tried running the license activation wizard and it shows that the license has been installed OK. But that doesn't matter, It still doesn't work? Does anyone have any ideas?
Cary OConnor
Try deleting the IronCAD.tbc file located C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\IronCAD\IRONCAD\8.0\Customization. You have to enable the ability to view hidden files and folders in the Windows Explorer Properties. Please let us know. Thanks, Cary
Doug Gower
Cary, That didn't work. I found another old .tbc file. Deleted that also and went thru the license wizard OK, but still no IronCAD?
Robert Andersson
-You may want to create a new user on your machine and try to run IronCAD as that user.
Cary OConnor
Also make sure you are running the activation wizard with administrator privileges. Cary
Doug Gower
Thanks guys, I put that together and it worked! I created a new administrator account, then ran the lisence activation again. After that I went back and deleted the new administrator. and everything is good again... Thanks Doug
