tlehnhaeuser
Do I under stand this correctly. I change the option to Disable Intellishape reordering. But When I create new parts the "Allow Reordeing: is still check on. tom
Cary OConnor
The option in tool/options is the global control. All parts will refer to the that setting regardless of the settings on the parts. The Part setting will not change unless a user changes it to control a single part. So even if the setting on the parts say allow reordering, if the setting is to disable reordering all part will not reorder. Cary
Guest cdeveaux
Just an aditional note for those who didn't know you can do this. You can disable reordering at the part level for EACH part. Just assemble the parts you want to disable / enable reordering on and right-click the assembly in the scene ( I notice this only works in the scene still, not in the browser) and select one of the options - Disable Reordering All or Allow Reordering All. These will change the settings on the parts themselves.

Cary, you may want to consider thisan ER to have the checkmarks removed in scene browser when the global setting is changed. I know I was confused. Thanks tom
B. Ludin
Removing the checkmarks would be inconsistent with the implementation. It should be greyed out to indicate that the setting is inactive. Beat
