tlehnhaeuser
Just got this Dell Latitude D800 Widescreen laptop. The problem is when I use the full screen it distorts the imagery in IronCAD. So a circle looks like an oval, square a rect. etc... It has the GeForce Video card in it. I can seem to find anywhere that tells me how to use the full screen without distorting. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks Tom
krowell
Do your driver controls have an aspect ratio setting? Sounds like you'll have to call Dell about this one.
Mike Twining
What resolution are you running at? Is is a standard 4:3 resolution (i.e. 1024x768) or is it a "widescreen" resolution (something like 1600x1024). My guess is that you are running a standard resolution on a widescreen monitor and that is why everything is getting stretched. Try selecting a resolution that matches more closely your screens aspect ratio. MikeT P.S. HOLY I-Beam Tom! 1000 posts. tlehnhaeuser
Thanks Guys, Your comments prompted me to Dig, Dig Dig into the Geforce seetings. I got it to work fine. I can use any resolution as long as the image remains CENTERED. That was the trick. Yeah! Baby! Its like I just got new big screen tV. thanks for the help. Mike: I-Beam! Holy!!........ I gotta get out more often.
