Robert Andersson
Try to drop a negative Intellishape (like a H-block) on this part. The part Have a texture "inside". This is hove to: -Drag a texture of choise on the part. -Select one face of the part. -RightMouse the face, Smartpaint, select a solid color (or a texture). -Use the EyeDropper to get the gray color and apply it on all surfaces. Chris Lohman
Heh, that's very clever. Cool tip
Robert Andersson
You can use it for nice animations effects. Open the attached ICS and play the animation. The scene asks for a texture. This is also attatched here. Place that image in your IC image searchpaths. See Tools/ Options/ Dir
Chris Lohman
Woah, very cool. You can sort of simulate a cross-section hatching on-the-fly in 3d. Hehe, this is a fun one
tlehnhaeuser
Hi Chris, YES, we have animated usinf the standard yellow/red stipe texture to act as a section hatch pattern on a animated cutting feature. Unfortunately the avi is 138mb and too big to upload. It works great!!!. Did this for a SWX user and knocked his socks off.
