EKLASKIN Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 I'm working on my first 'project', and I have to go back and fill in the part descriptions, etcetera, for the BOM. Unfortunately, all similar fasteners are individually populating the BOM. When I try to manually 'force' them into one row by changing the quantity, and erasing all of the extra parts, they all reappear when I log back onto my computer. How do I get this to correctly populate the BOM, so as to avoid multiples of the same part from clogging the BOM?? TIA Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rsaucier Posted April 24, 2017 Share Posted April 24, 2017 Two Options: 1) You do not have the "part Number" field populated. The default option for BOM's to determine quantities is by the part numbers. If you populate that feild, you will get your desired result 2) Change the option in the BOM properties to "All Columns".
