    I presently run Iron CAD on a Compaq with a Celeron 600 and 512MB PC 100 Ram. With large files I can easily grind it to a near stand still.

     

    I am ordering a Dell Percision Workstation 530. Xeon 1.5GH, 512MB PC800 ECC RD Ram, 3dLAbs Wildcat II 5110 VGA/DVI, and an Ultra 160/M SCSI (10,000 RPM) H-D.

     

    Will this keep me moving? Do I need more RAM?

    I have relatively good succes importing 3D files , but very little exporting.

     

    I need to be able to export a #D file so that CAD users without Iron CAD can use them. I have tried exporting to DXF and get very poor results. Is there a way to export to an IGS or STP file?

     

    Also, does anyone elses software have the ability to import an IronCad file?
