You guys are right. I just moved to a Lenovo D32q and set font scaling to 115% and it is tack sharp. Pleased with my decision to go to it. The smart dimension and handle dimension read out is better. I no longer have to rub my eyes.

Hi Malcolm, I did something way back with the help of Kevin and the support team. For Australia and New Zealand user of the Steel Frame on the Catalog: I have modified the SteelFrameData.txt from ProgramFiles>IronCAD>AppData>en-us>SteelBars to feature Australia and New Zealand Standard Equal and Unequal leg (angle bar), square and rectangular sections within the ISO Standard. Rename the current SteelFrameData.txt to SteelFrameDataorig.txt and insert and the SteelFrameDatar4.txt to SteelFrameData.txt You can expand this by adding those items in the list. Here is a model of cylinder with the seam unhook. you can use hem instead of a seam in a cylinder as Spencer wrote. Hope this help. However if the hem applies on the end of the cylinder, this will not be the right model. regards to you both. joseph Cylinder.ics

SketchUp 2017 gives you an option to save as SketchUp 2015 file. Did SketchUp 2018 and above removed that option?

Thanks guys. One more thing, I think I may also need to move the virtual memory out of the hdd to the ssd. Regards, thanks and keep safe.

Hi, I have observed saving 60 sheet+ ICD drawing a bit a hog on my previous set up with OS and Apps on the IntelP600 Nvme and IC projects on a mechanical drive. So what I did was to get a SSD drive for IC projects but it didn't do much. But one thing did improve it all is by moving the temp folder on the ssd, which most suggestions are said to set on a mechanical drive so it won't wear of your ssd or nvme . It seems the icd drawings relies on temp files more than the 3D model that uses memory. I got to this by having the task manager performance graph displayed to figure out how it use the hardware. Is there a tweak to move ICD to use the memory if you 16+ GB? Running the project on 2019. regards.

Finally nailed it, on my model and my forehead. Sometimes you have to double check construction guides and segments connect in the correct perpendicular matter

Hi Spencer and Cary, Thanks for looking in. I followed the video and recreate and did the steps., and still goes bonkers on my end

Hi, I tried to lock this feature at 40mm. I tried constraints loose the perpendicular corners when pulling the sheet metal stock handles. I tried to lock the points , it maintains the feature but change the 40mm required length value. I definitely getting stale on this one. Done in 2019. Floor Panel Tray T2.5.ics

Hi Kevin, that work. But my desired out come was to snap the handles in place between 2 end panels so it fits correctly. I just have to be aware not with this part I created. -

Hi Kevin, I done the file in 2019 and I open in 2020. I do have the same results. My IRONCAD started problems this week when it stopped on the sheet metal. My other projects seems to be fine but all projects I am doing with this canopies is going a bit haywire. I already re-installed both 2019 and 2020 and its been acting bit slow to open files. I will have to try using another machine to figure this out. Thanks for looking at it. -
Re-install got it sorted now. I do hope I finish everything.

Hi Cary, I think I have to re-install IRONCAD 2019, the W10 update 2004 might have mess up my system. My other project is also having issues with dxf not generating the holes after a design revision. Prior to that all dxf went through the laser cutter software without any issues. I have attached a file that doesn't generate the other bend lines Floor Panel Tray 1820R 2.5.ics

I able to put bend w/stock or bend edit but it stop applying them on the opposite side on the red arrows Sheet Metal Part7 End Panel 2.5.ics

Hi Bill, I want to add a string to the drop down list if I can. Regards -
Is it possible to add IC-Assembly to the drop down list or how should I add it to the list? Regards

Hi Malcolm, Thanks for your input. I found that in buying monitors with progressives, I have to find a model with a very low profile. I started with a 27" main and extended on a 24" to read the pdf plan references. It drove me crazy as the font scaling is different plus the it bottom has a wide bezel that put the viewing screen higher. I had constant neck pain. I resorted to progressives for the computer, but working from home and driving picking up the kids doesn't allow my eyes to adjust that quickly. I had a change to use 2 identical BenQ28 hd which had almost a color match perfect but the text were small and again the stands was to high for me so I have to look up more than I should. Its tax time and end of financial year so I was thinking of the option of changing display. Regards joseph
