  1. tnx.

I do not use IC for rendering but technique in general is the same for all rendering engines...

Some of rendering engines like Keyshot are more focused on "Studio lighting" and simply HDRI or few light are enough for result..

Rendering engines like Maxwel, Vray, Corona... are more appropriate for interiors/exteriors

Unfortunately, we can not get everything in one. IC is great for fast modeling but rendering is not the best option.

  2. Maybe to make a parameter model....

    Pie.mp4

Please pay attention on assemble/part/intellishape levels when you set parameters!!!

    1. Set Angle parameter aa on Intellishape lavel

    2. Make Pattern on part level

    3. Number parameter Numb on Assemble level

    4. Add " deg" after 360 in expression to avoid errors

Now, all you need is to change Number parameter on assemble level... You can change size on Intellishape level or latter add radius parameter like angle parameter.....

I can explain latter... I`m in a hurry now wink.gif

    Model is IC2013PU1, sorry...

  3. In the Add/Remove, click on View Installed Updates. This is where it should show the PU1. Make sure that you uninstalled the beta before installing the final release.

    Try, delete XML files in:

    C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\IronCAD\IRONCAD\15.0\en-us\Customization

    C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Local\IronCAD\IRONCAD\15.0\en-us\Customization

  4. There is general option for Surface Smoothness but it could be memory demanded with a lot of parts/assemblies....

There is also option in Properties Browser that enables you to change surface smoothness for multiple part/assemble selected....
