I tried different methods but so far no luck.

Attached part in not made in IC thou’ and trying to make similar part in IC.

 

Is there a way to create indentation on sheet metal part created in IC? These indentations are used to insert the tabs of other sheet metal part in the rectangle hole and then bend the tabs to secure.

Right click in triball, select - show all handles.

 

Then try, most likely, inner legs will not disappear. Hope this helps

Today I installed the new version 2104.

 

I have only seen the following new features added. Experimented And I like all of them. Good job IronCAD team.

 

1. Improved UI Highlight on Standard Features

2. Quickly Duplicate Objects to Pattern/Link on Drop

3. Intelligent Editing of Multiple Feature Handles

4. Ghost Part (No Selection, Hit but No Selection)

5. Wrap Emboss (Text Emboss for Example)

6. Sheet Metal Stock Table Edit/Add in Tools/Options Dialog

7. TriBall Both Directions, excellent!!

Yup we are aware of it and have one for investigation. It seems a bit difficult so far to work with but we will keep looking at it to see if it is viable in the future.

I tried with ACIS but it did not work.

 

I changed the kernel from ACIS to Parasolid and it shows the Part # which was included in BOM

[A Part Parasolid cannot make]

Apparently when I swithc this part from Acis to Parasolid cannopt make it ;-)

 

Also I cannot shell this part. Not sure why.

I have a MacBook Pro and I am very happy with it. I have just switched to Apple desktop and laptops after 15 years of Windows pain and my eyes were opened to all that I had been missing. I am now running IronCAD on my desktop MacPro with Bootcamp and it runs better and faster than on any Windows desktop I ever had. I intend to install it on my MacBook Pro soon and I expect it's going to be fine as well. And another important bonus: Apple displays are in a class of their own. I have just sold my one year old highly specced 17 inch Vaio laptop - even though it's one of the best Windows laptops, its display looks dim and hazy next to Apple's.
