Never really used point clouds but do you think change the default units before importing will help?
This has helped my on several occasions with importing 3D models.

Sorry I haven;t found a way to get a clean image exported out of the ICD enviroment so I just use an outlined black DXF'd logo. Also, There's an issue sometimes with the circles exporting as hex's so thats another issue.
-
Sure I send an email Kev

I export logo as DXF and the open the DXF in drawing , copy and paste on the template file. I use Inkscape to convert logos to DXFs

sure Kev I'll send a Wetransfer

I have the same issue and really haven't had time to explore what the issue may be. I will take a look deeper when I can.

I got that, but can I edit it and save as a template revision block like we can do with BOMSs?

Aha Ok thank you both

Hmmm thats a tough one, I think I would have to generate all the cutouts as separate parts first and then use Boolean Cut. Interesting.

Thanks Cary,
I will attempt, I apprecaite it!

I get alot of blank DXFs to fold up. Typically for cardboard packaging. However, IC can never seem to do them. Not sure if its me or the software.
Attached is one of the simpler ones that I cannot fold.
If anyone can, please feel free to try and maybe make a video?
Cheers

How can I get the curve selections onto my quick command bar while in edit cross section mode? For the life of me I can't ding those in any lists. Maybe a search bar in the customization dialogs would be helpful.
Thank you
Tom

Cant tell too goof from pic, but I think he means a Belt in 3 axis not flat 2D. I would attempt to do in a loft possibly

I know, I can be confusing or confused sometimes . I have attached the scene file. I want to convert this mannequin to a solid that is smooth so I can edit it.
Currently when I convert to solid it becomes extremely facetted. I assume IronCAD has some internal "number of facets" set to convert to solids. If I could increase that number it would be what I need.
Does this make more sense?

The problem is I would have to convert to solid before I can export to a OBJ so its already "mehaed coursely". I tried and brough it into Blender but subdiving only subdivides each facet
Align model with photographic picture

you need an exact model? becuase I would use the image as a scene background as the image with NO stretching and then orientate my models view to accomodate. However this is purely conceptual approach.
