  1. New Text always gets it's size from the current default Text Style.
  2. Please send the files (ICS and ICD) to support@ironcad.com so I can investigate further.
  3. I don't have any more specific information at this time.
  4. We are planning a completely new OpenGL system in IronCAD 10.0, I don't have any details yet but it will have many advantages over the current system.
  5. Regenerating the assembly has been working for me here. Please send me you assembly if it keeps giving you the Mass Properties mesasge after regenerating and saving ( support@ironcad.com or ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/upload/ ).
  6. This should a one time event per file, adding the new Mass Property data to each part. If you use external links, regenerate all the parts before saving to ensure they will all be updated and the message won't keep popping up.
  7. They would better off with any of the Nvidia Quadro FX or ATI FireGL cards since they are designed for CAD. The cards listed above are designed mainly for gaming.
  8. This book is probably the closest we have to intermediate: ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/download/Ironcad-9-Textbook.pdf
  9. Tom, Have you tried running RegICAPIDLLsEx.exe?
  10. The LCD Flat Panel I'm using runs at 75Hz refresh rate, maybe that's a big difference because I've noticed a big drop in eye-strain compared to my old CRT.
  11. That is the reality of creating assemblies and drawings in a solid modeler, they all create large data sets that do require powerful PC workstations.
  12. You can upload the file to ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/upload/ Send an email to support@ironcad.com to let me know that file is finished uploading. We can then attempt to recover the file, this is successful about 50% of the time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  13. After Hide, just use Add to "re-display" the CoG.
  14. NOTE: As mentioned in the PU1 install, files saved in PU1 cannot be opened in 9.0 "plain". Scene files could be saved in ACIS files and imported back to 9.0 but the .ics files could not.
  15. Try deleting your C:\Documents and Settings\loginname\Application Data\IronCAD\IRONCAD\9.0\Customization\ironcad.tbc file.
  16. Try STEP (.stp), ACIS (.sat) or Parasolid (.x_t), if OmniCAD supports any of those. Those filetypes are typically better quality than IGES.
  17. Good question, but it doesn't appear there is a way to accomplish that.
