  1. The HDRI files are really just meant to be used as backgrounds. Also, I sent the GSG files to Maria.
  2. Go to Format, Background, 3D Environment to setup a HDRI file. BTW, We are working on a rendering tutorial.
  3. Must be a bug but I did find that shrinking the Text Sizebox down to as close to the text geometry as possible will fix this.
  4. Assuming a gap is there, the reflection of light under the pen might cause the blue glow.
  5. All hands are on deck working towards the hotfix, I don't have a release date yet but I will post it as soon as I get one.
  6. Are you sure there is no small gap between the pen and the table?
  7. The download is now on build # 7984 (that should be the last build until Hotfix 1).
  8. Sorry, I'm not sure that I understand your question.
  9. Alfredo, When you say your Local Coordinate System is rotated are you referring to the red, green and blue axis emanating from the COG center? If so, that is not a coordinate system but a graphical display of the mass moment of inertia.
  10. FYI - Here's a small note that makes our PDF's much hotter * 3D PDF Support - IronCAD V10 supports the ability to export 3D PDF and U3D files from the IronCAD Scene. This capability allows users the ability to share and collaborate on their 3D Designs in a lightweight format. 3D PDF's can be used for visualization only or can be used for markup collaboration. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1.1 installed in order to view IronCAD exported 3D PDF's. When you open a 3D PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1.1, you may need to enable double-side rendering to view the models properly. o Right-click in the 3D PDF background o Select "3D Preferences". o In the “Rendering Options”, select "Enable Double-Sided Rendering".

    Memory

The v10 rendering engine is completely new and will demand more resources typically. If you want to still use the old rendering engine, go to Tools, Options, Rendering and set Realistic Rendering Engine to "Legacy Raytracing Engine". Beyond that, feel free to send in your file and I can test it here on a variety of computers. support@ironcad.com or ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/upload/

    Memory

If you are hitting the limit of the 3gb Switch (typically 2.2gb in reality) before you even start to render then yes, problems will occur. v10 should not require in more memory then v9 but the limitation Windows imposes on a process still applies. We will have the 64-bit version of IronCAD available next year and it will be able to use much more memory.
  13. The numerical values will update as the anchor moves.
  14. By default, the COG display measures from the part's anchor. The Analysis command measures from the World Origin. In the Analysis dialog, if you select the "Selected shape local coordinate system" toggle, you will get the same results as the COG Display.
  15. Do you have the Windows 3gb Memory switch set On? If not: http://www.ironcad.com/support/community/i...hl=/3gb++switch If the switch is on and you still get memory errors, you can upload the files to ftp://ftp.ironcad.com/upload
  16. IronCAD should recognize all the TrueType fonts on you system. Is it possible that many of your fonts are of a different type?
  17. Since it was released on your birthday it must be our best release ever. This is the most change put into a single release since version 3.0 so I do hope it really is our best ever.
  18. Click and drag on the "S" on the toolbar to move it.
  19. Yes, the whole world is downloading right now.
  20. Hi Mike, Opening your 9.x templates and using Save As to create new ones should be fine.
  21. Also, as in the past, the latest version can always be downloaded here: http://www.ironcad.com/product/trialdownload/ CDs will ship in the coming weeks.
  22. IronCAD will be modified to become a 64-bit application. That version should release early in the first half of 2008. More info to come very soon.
  23. Hi Johan, I think you summed up the situation accurately. We will notify all of you as soon as possible.
  24. To make a sharp point Maybe Tom found a case where Extend/Trim didn't meet his needs.
