We don't have a method for mitering separate parts, you'll have to trim each part at an angle with a cut shape or Cut Sheet Metal Part tool.

The Sizebox does not always match the actual geometry. You can often run Reset Sizebox to match them up.

There is no easy way to replace missing faces.
Let's try to correct this at the source. Please send a sample STEP file and we can investigate why it's missing faces to begin with if the STEP file does indeed contain solid data, maybe we can fix the import.

You probably have solid bodies hidden in the part, you might have to delete them.

Do you have a license for the "IronCAD Mechanical" addon?
It has a Split IntelliShapes tool that does this.
