    Any version is newer. 2014 cannot open 2015 files. 2015 cannot open 2016 files. etc.

    Newer files cannot be opened in older versions. The only work-around would be to export as a neutral format such as ACIS .sat or Parasolid .x_t and open that.

    Note from R&D: In certain operations such as import, file load, Parasolid model interference check, view creation, part of computations can be parallel, IronCAD does take advantage of multiple cores. For such computation, more cores, the faster. However certain computation can only be done sequentially, then multiple cores will not help.

    That's very odd, clearing the XMls should reset that. I suppose you could try deleting the IronCAD User Registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IronCAD\IRONCAD 25.0 (Outside that I'd have to do more research)
