IC 2020  cant send the drawing as IC finally broke down.

As soon as I want to print a drawing with a shadded part on it:

IC says goodby.

It produces much to big data I guess.

Had it many times no matter if PDF or real Printer.

Everything breaks down.....

Is it possible to quickly transfer the Materiel from one part to another part?

Like: 800kg/m3  Playwood  to 8000kg/m3 316 Stainless Steel.

I tried with the eye dropper

But did not work.

Or: Is it possible to set the material in an assembly for all parts at once? (looks like not)

So the Question: is there a material dropper?

I was always super happy with rotating in Iron Cad, and think it is better than in other CAD.

The camera tools are very important in CAD so I really hope the change is not a worse (like others).

Iron Cad now is very intuitive.

Hope we can select the modus in the options. old / new

Yes I often turn around mouse cursor.

ER: But I  would wish a natural feeling of rotate when I have a camera inside a room.

(like a human who turns his head)

Target Camera, set on shape

Rotate around the set target. (shape is center) (middle mouse button)

Iron Cad: Automatic handle switch out by default: should be in the options. Would be logical to me.

I played that through.

So to me it would be better to have a general "auto active handle - on" box in the options.

....to do it for every shape is an immense work.

To me the active handle is more work....I just want to deselect it for ever.

I will try.....still a strange place for the default behaviour regulation....normally I would search this in the options.

PS by the way, here Catalog/Scene Metric, Standart shape catalog....I have to open it for each new session.

 

And the Triball is perfect where it is! I love it! ...but not over tha handle :-)

The Triball on this place is very nice......but it should be beside the handle. 

Is there in options a box to select? "Non automatic active handle"?

But I would like to attach a curve on its nearest possition.

Shortest disance to attach curve.

PS in your sample: I guess to remember that the arrow changed its location to the wanted point (in earlier version)?

The point is nearly not to see and so it would be better the arrow is on the point selected.

These 2 things are waste of time:

Triball over sizebox handle. (I love to have it there but beside the handle would be nice)

Automatic activation of Sizebox handles in shape modus, it is always the wrong one and it hides other handles.

Would be good to un activate it.

Means: extend shape until to attach the curve

ER this would help me often:

In the shape sizebox, right click handle:

Select "Attach edge" (or curve)

select the curve at any place on it,

......so the shape attaches the nearest position to attach a curve

In these days it attaches where the curve is selected.

So at the end this was the fastest way to me.

For technical use this works fine.

If you want proper, nice looking, letters and numbers you need Spline Text. 

Buy Iron Pro or import from Rhino as dxf
