  1. Thank you Cary The funny thing is I have not activated the endpoint snap (as you can see) 1st Attach works OK 2.nd goes to endpoint 3th is OK see movie But it looks that the activated Snap Intersection produces this... A bug? Intersection Snap.wmv
  2. Thanks Kevin, Simple: for a 3d curve (spline) : if I attach it with another curve (create curve) the new curve does not attach on the point where I attach it. it goes back to the start point of the attached 3d curve. I never had this but now it makes it always. Understood?
  3. Dear Jonas This part I understood and it is fine (medium intuitive but understandable) Sign could be better. But I do not want it to remember and automaticly activate both handle.
  4. Toggle.wmv Thank you Jonas I played that through and you are right. See movie : if the option is on it remembers that both handle where activated, cannot deactivate. Also even more confusing when only one handle is activated but when I drag on it the second activates.....so failure is for shure.
  5. I want to set the start point of a 3d curve on another 3d curve But instead of set on curve it swaps back on the start point of the existing curve. Can I switch that out? .....with lines it works well. Swap back.wmv
  6. Dear Jonas That worked! I am so happy! 1000 thanks! Yes me too, ....auto active handle was just a pain to me. Especially it should be to disselect in general......now I have a assembly with 10000 parts (or so) all with active handle Have a nice day Carlo
  7. Thank you Jonas. But I wanted to explain: No automatic activ handle when selecting from part to intellishape, (more work to me) Then Also I would like to diselect (checkbox): "Do not remember symetrical handle" I had terrible failures cause of the remembering of symetric handle behaviour. It is nice to select the 2 handles and symetrical adjust, but it should not remember it.
  8. Thank you Cary I wanted each part with simply Length anf height. As it are many parts it would have been nice.....
  9. Is there a way to switch it out? I have endles more clicks..... o/o/o does not help
  10. Thanks! I was able to do it but the result was very slow and I had a bad result I would simply like the have for each part LxB
  11. mhhh the picture is here sharper....
  12. HI this is my first time I try it. But it does not work....did I miss something?
  13. Hi Maurizio Very Cool, thats how it has to be! Best Carlo
  14. Dear Spencer Thank you. I do not have mechanical. But also think some fundamentals should be done in IC main. So I think here should be an update necaissairy for the fastest and most intuitive CAD Your sample contains a lot of clicks. If I have the time I do it in Rhino where a good text tool is availible ....but forwards and backwards is pain. Many thanks and have a nice day Carlo
  15. That became a cool tool tool that I really Love Works perfect! Thanks Triball.wmv
  16. 2d Fonts-Crosssection.wmv
  17. Dear Tom Meanwhile I do so! But good advice. PS there is another bug with 2d Fonts: Ones draged on a part, sometimes I would like to change the size (scale) This worked one single time, in the Cross section by selecting the Font Lines and resize in the dialog tab. But it worked just one time.....now I cannot select the font anymore. Also draging on shapes: the orientation is always different. Also the sizebox is not arround the text, and handles cannot scale text. So to me 2d Text is full of bugs...sadly
  18. Thats how I did it on the end.... Sadly that the 2d Text tool is always mirrored with H Shapes. I guess it is a bug
  19. Ah Tom You wanted to tell me: on shape level instead of part level....you are very right! Many thanks Carlo
  20. Thank you Tom I do so! Many thanks and a Happy New Year to you too! :-) Carlo
  21. Dear Sam Cool! I tried and it works perfect. Many thanks. I was searching on properties of the shape box (old way) :-) Great many thanks Carlo
  22. Dear Spencer Thank you! Yes this sounds like working. :-) Still: the "H Shape" checkbox in the Part Properties would be a nice ER Many thanks Carlo
  23. I would like to create H shapes to store in the catalogs. Is it possible (some checkbox) to change a positive shape into a H shape. (I know boolean and as well the +/- shape functions) It would be good to have a checkbox: Positive shape / H shape Boolean does not work if a part is in an assembly (which is often bad to me)
