Which render operation are you performing? Export? On-screen Render?
Also, which version are you using?
I'm having no trouble stopping the two rendering operations mentioned above with almost any key. IC7.0.2.1

There's lots of options from your starting point I think.
A cone and a cylinder are suggested by the outline, except for the spline curve on the backbone.
So I would go for a loft, as few as 3 profiles might do it.
Am I missing anything?

Highlight the catalog to be removed
Choose catalogs / close
Also you may want to store your catalog sets for future reference.
Choose catalogs / catalog sets /
Select a set and choose edit
Change the catalog name and remove the "offending" catalog from the list
Choose OK

Do your driver controls have an aspect ratio setting?
Sounds like you'll have to call Dell about this one.

Send me that ico.
I suspect the alpha channel. Transparecy probably isn't allowed, or is being identified wrongly.

Right, QuickDraw, not Corel Draw.
It's a mac based program.

I've checked into this format.
It seems to be some kind of Corel Draw format but Corel 12 wouldn't open it. Try Camel translator.

What .ico editor are you using?

The look at camera tool (f7) is also very usefull for aligning the view before using "sandard view". (dont forget the reset and from scene buttons)
I will present the request for more view orientation interface options for the general view dialog to R&D. I think it's reasonable to expect software with such a great interface to have a great dialog interface as well.

Lofts only allow snapping on the end shapes.
Try editing the drawing view and adding reference geometry. This is a one way street, but allows dimensioning in an otherwise in-accessible spot.
Loft Model
Dims snap to end shapes only
Edit View
Model geometry highlights when adding reference geometry
Dimensions now have something to snap to

If you want to send that drawing in to tech support, I'll take a look at it.

In a related story, you can get more catalog icons onscreen by changing the windows display properties to show small icons. "display properties / advanced / item / icon / size / ?10?" or some other very small number. This affects the size and number of icons in IC that can be shown on-screen when the catalog is open, but of course, windows desktop icons will also be very small.

You don't have convenient links to those drivers handy do you?

Can you upload an image of how that looks? I'm curious how "blocky" it is.
