yes please let us have the old function back. We didn't know we had to ask for it because it was a function and it really kills my workflow having to do something different then it has always been. Please please please bring it back.

When selecting a large quantity of parts at one time it seems to have quite a lag or a flicker like it is selecting everything individually. It isn't a long pause but it is pretty noticeable. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Thanks B-

In 2018 when looking down on a part with the tri-ball on you could click on the top middle dot and it would lock the z axis. Now you have to slightly rotate your view and lock the axis and then toggle back to the top view. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you B-

where do you turn the (bold) setting off of parts?

so I change it to old style and it works. I go to different part and it is back to the new (bold) style. I change it and it is good. Is there a universal tribal setting I am missing? I am working on a legacy file BTW. Thanks B-

Happy Monday. I have a problem that I can not get my head around. I have a block that also has an H-block 1.5" smaller inside of it. I want the h-block to resize when I stretch the block that it is attached to. Is this possible? thank you community B-

You can export your .ucx file from they options menu and can save a lot of work with those items but as for button set-up this has never been an option in IronCad. It has been asked for many times but has not made it into the program yet.

Selection is very sporadic when trying to pick parts. Selecting parts with a box select is almost impossible. You start to drag a box and sometimes 4 seconds later it appears and you do not have the selection you want. 2018 not having a good first impression on me.

moving views around in 2018 is very frustrating. Sometimes you need to click on the edge of view to get it to move. Sometimes you can move it by just being inside the box. Sometime neither works and you have to move it 2-3 times to get your view where you want it.

I have a weird question. I am using formulas in my part description using the length of my shape to drive the part number. For visual purposes I need the part to be 1/4" smaller but I want it to display the proper size. Does anybody know if I can do a formula like shape size + 1/4" = final size to display in my part number. example= ="VS Straight Tube-"&Shape1\Sizebox\Height &"-in" Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks for any help you can give.

Is there any way to hide some of the info for the design variation? I am providing cad models for our field to use and want to make it as easy as possible to use. Can I color the tabs or the text on the tab to highlight they need to make a selection. thank you B-

Sorry to add on to this thread but I have a similar question. I have two parts. Lets say one is a block and one is a cylinder. I want the length of the block to be resizable but it is driven by how far I drag my cylinder.

I hate how "to midpoint" is greyed out but love that there is no longer a second click needed to get these options.

Is there a way to drag items that are in a catalog directly into a group folder you have created in the same catalog? Currently I have to drag into a scene and then back into the group folder in the catalog. I don't like this only because it loses the name I have edited in the catalog. Any help would be appreciated. thank you B-

Why does it seem that files take a lot longer to open and save in 2016? I can open the same file in 2015 in half the time. Anybody else experiencing this? thanks B-

Is there a way to add text in 3d that does not show up in your drawing or does not print? I have a tabletop that has the option of 2 holes but I represent 6 hole locations that those holes can be. I want to add text that just says pick up to 2 holes but not show up anywhere else. Kind of like the defpoints layer in autocad. thanks Brian

why do some icons look like the part when you drag them into a catalog and some parts have a ironcad logo instead?
