1. Is there a way to copy a hole intellishape with a blend (fillet) that's been applied to it? When I select both (the hole first) the Triball isn't available. Mark
2. I am not sure but I don't think so because I've had this problem for years with various renderings, and on various computers, with various textures - but have never asked about it. I used to clean them up in Photshop but that's quite time consuming. They are really strange because they seem to occur kind of randomly (but consistently within a specific file - they don't go away). I still need more ideas for a solution... it may take "profound" understanding of the rendering engine to solve this problem.
3. When I render high res images in the highest quality mode I sometimes get blemishes on the rendered objects as illustrated in the attached picture (please zoom in to see them - they are small). Any suggestions? Thanks! Mark
4. Thanks, Kevin. BTW - it may help everyone to know that changing your part to a Parasolid was needed before I could fillet the edges (it refused to get filleted as an ACIS part).
5. I am creating a closed swept surface using two closed loop guide curves and (trying but failing) one closed profile. I managed to create two separate surfaces but do not know how to turn them into a parent curve editable solid. The whole thing should be simple and clean but for some reason I cannot get it done. Help is not much help... Attached pictures illustrate the issue. I'd appreciate some pointers or is there a book or website available that explains ICAD surface creation in depth? Mark

7. I am considering installing Service Pack 2 for Windows XP Pro. Has anyone encountered any problems with IronCAD after installing SP2?
8. The file size grew slightly. I can email you the original "growing" file so you can do the Save As and Save and see it grow. It seems to me it's not an isolated problem. I have always had file sizes behave oddly. I would delete some complex shape parts and save a file with very simple parts left and the saved file would be larger than the original one that had more parts and more complex ones. Also - the work around that you suggested, even if it worked, would be cumbersome. I do a lot of IronCAD work and if I had to do this every time it would be too time consuming. Is it possible that IronCAD does not purge the old stuff when it gets deleted or simplified? Thanks. Mark
9. I have a simple file with a five or six simple parts with uncomplicated cylindrical and revolved shapes. The file size was an incredible 13MB. I tried using Save As to compress it but instead it grew to 21MB. So I then tried the Save command and it grew to 40MB! I have suspected something strange going on because my previous files were much larger than their complexity would warrant but the one I describe above really takes the cake. I have version 7 with PU1. Any suggestions? Thanks! Mark
10. Hi Is there a way to drag or otherwise move or copy items between catalogs? I'd like to reorganize my catalogs and I do not see an easy way of doing it. Is there a way to somehow open the catalogs outside of IronCAD and then move/copy items? Thanks. Mark
11. Hi Is there a way to permanently hide the axes that show up in the lower left corner of a new scene? And, if at the same time I could have the Standard Views toolbar come up automatically (rather than having to go to Run Add On Tools), I think I would experience nirvana Mark www.g2art.com
