Do you guys export your Bill of materials to an excel sheet?
If you do, will you share your workflow with me please. I just want an Idea of the different options I have to do this.

Yes we occasionally export BOMs to Spreadsheets. Its usually when a client wants a complete list of materials in spreadsheet form for costing or ordering of materials.
You need to use the BOM Database Tool. See the attached image. I've also attached a video demonstrating the process.
Note that from memory, you need to have MS Excel installed on your computer for this functionality.
