I have created the bin starting with flat sheet and deducting bend allowances that refer to min inside bend radius and material thickness 1) Use ONLY smooth bends! Sheet deductions to allow for smooth bend additions are; For two bends, smooth bend deduction is (2x2.25 inside radius ) + ( 2 x mat thickness ) = 7.5mm For one bend, smooth bend deduction is (1x2.25 inside radius ) + ( 1 x mat thickness ) = 3.75mm When adding sheetmetal mitre, 'Create mitre flanges only' MUST be checked I labelled the bends for easy ID later 2) Make 3 copies ( keep the original in case of a stuff up ) 3) On first copy delete all bends to form 'main part' 4) Delete mitre reliefs 5) Lengthen bottom sheet to inside of master model 6) Create rear side by deleing unwanted mitres 7) Delete side bend 8) Add stock and set length to inside bottom of main sheet 9) Move rear sheet to manufacturing assy position 10) Extend main sheet bottom to create butt corner 11) Create one side sheet 12) Delete band and add stock and set length to inside bottom of main sheet 13) Move side sheet to manufacturing assy position 14) Link end sheet 15) Done!
