  1. There is something wrong with my computer. Next week the disk will be formatted and all software new installed.
  2. Hi, Is there a setting in sheetmetal that can switch of the the connection-lines between bends and stocks/add-stocks? I have the lines on my computer shown and on another not shown. Both 2018 sp1 update1 built 15558 I started the file on 1 computer (a) with some sheetmetal, no lines. Opened it in my computer (comp . Added a add-stock. That stock showed a line. Opened the file in the first computer. The line of the add-=stock added in computer b is still visible in computer a. I added stock in comp a. Line not visible. I,m puzzeld...
  3. I understand what you mean Jonas. I use the snap en sketch too in other occassions. Why use the add stock is in the occassion that i want to strech assemblies with lots of parts. Then the sketch tool is not the way to handle this. I use ironcad for 19 years , i know what the possibilties are..... Wim
  4. Hi Cary, in ic2018 everything is fine with the lines now. I am a happy man:) Thanks! Wim
  5. i use the `strech part/assembly` tool to strecht it all at once.
  6. My reason is for stretching. One cannot stretch sketched stocks without deformation/scaling of stock unless it is only a rectangular shape.
  7. thank you! Wim 292483_1.zip
  8. Hi, does support have time to look into this. It would be of much help for me. I realize i am the only one (so far, but a loyal not-asking-very-much user since 1999:)) Wim
  9. Hi Cary We have many parts that consists of stocks and add stocks that we use to strecht to different lenghts. We need a sqaure part in the middle for strechting so the side parts will stay in shape. They look very weird now in the drawing with all the lines , and are confusing. I still us the old settings but for old parts, but i cant build new ones like this, so i would be very happy if you ask support for the possibility to convert. Thank you. Regards Wim
  10. Hi, i have a question about sheetmetal. When i regenerate on old sheetmetalpart to a new i get stripes when the sheetmetalstock is not tight to the bend. This is laso with the new sheetmetal from 2016. I prefer the ols situation not seeing the stripes. Am i the only one? Meaby a choice in settings? Wim
  11. guess i figured it out. I was wrong. It works ok.
  12. Hi, box select has changed in ic2017. In the previous versions i could box-select, and the parts would select first on assembly-level. This worked great for me. Now alle selected parts are on partlevel. Linked parts in assembly`s are traveling were you don`t want them to now. Would be nice if there was a choice in this behavior. regards Wim
  13. Hi Brent, place 2 bends on 1 side of a stock. Then press the mitter command. Click the 2 bends so they are yellow.(select the one closest on the stock first) press the right button in the the mitter-tab. select the 3 edges of the stock that you want the bend onto(green lines appear) press ok there must be some avi in the whats new movies, but i cant find them. hope this helps Wim
