  1. When copying a text with leader it does not function like in 2019 as well. It used to keep the arrow attached to whatever it was originally attached to and moves the text to your new location. Now it puts your text kind of where you leave it and puts the arrow in a crazy place.
  2. Did something change in fonts from 2019 to 2020. All my templates that had text in one line are now wraping. Text that I had stored in a catalog with a text box no longer fit in that text box causing me to redo all my work. Please let me know if you have any options. B-

    Icons

Thanks Cary but large icons are a bit much.....lol Kevin can you explain your option for where to go for windows scaling plz. thanks guys!
  5. Is there any way to increase the size of the icons or make them have more contrast? My old eyes are not getting any younger and I feel these are hard to see. Thanks B-
  6. Ok I take it back a little. Zoom left to right works but right to left does not. Hopefully this is just a bug.
  7. Just wondering if anyone is having trouble with their window zoom. No matter how much I try it does not give me the results that are inside my window box. thanks B-
  8. Awesome! Thank you Kevin.
  9. Happy new year community. I have a question. I created a folder inside one of my catalogs is there a way to drag a part out of this folder and back into my main catalog of do I need to drop it in my scene and then drag back into my catalog. Any help is appreciated. Thanks B-
  10. RJ I appreciate your reply but whenever a drastic change like this is made users should have the ability to keep the current behavior or at least ask the community if this is the desired result.
  11. But why should I have to exit the command for anything to show up. That is horrible for work flow. I click two points and my dimension should show up. I click two more and that should show up. It used to be this way forever until someone complained and made a suggestion that they didn't like how every other cad platform worked. This is also horrible for when you do string dimensions off of one another. You cant see where the first one is placed and then all the subsequent dimensions are placed off the first one that is in the wrong place. Dimensioning is horrible in a program that relies on dimensioning.
  12. As a beginner I would say watch a few videos on youtube first. Some great help out there.
  13. When 2019 came out and they switched the dimensioning it was one of the worst decisions I believe ironcad has ever made. When I place a dimension I should not have to hit the green check or zoom out to see my dimension was placed correctly. In the future I would like for IC not to break things for the small amount of people that ask for "features" and keep them the same. Instead make them an option as to not piss off the ones that thought it was ok in the first place. Thanks rant over...……….. for now
  14. Thanks for responding. At the vary least the warning would be nice. Maybe after you set the parameter there is a check box to lock it into whatever you want it to be and then suppression wouldn't affect the underlying parts in the assembly? We are starting to use more and more parametric parts and I can see this being an concern for us going forward. Do you guys have a preferred solution to this? Thanks again. B-
