  1. Thanks Yaroslav. Site looks neat, I've actually grabbed some models from there in the past. Andon stack light comes to mind. Funny thing is even tho it was a solidworks part model it dragged and dropped right into IronCAD. Hummm? -JP
  2. I have been working with IronCAD since it was trispectives. Recently the company I work for made the commitment of switching from IronCAD to Solidworks. After much heart ache, head aches and failed attempts to switch back to IronCAD, I feel that it is time I reach out and see if there is any free lance IronCAD work out there. My core experience is in Custom Automated Machinery and Consumer Product Design. I would prefer to work from my home office. I can send interested parties examples of my work in IronCAD format. Interested parties can email me at parrishjoel@gmail.com
  3. Thanks guys... I have a couple parts that were created in the structured state. But going back and doing a "quick change" is a pain when you are used to working with Innovative parts..
  4. Thanks Dallas. Anyone ever try RhinoCAM? -JP
  5. I never asked this of IronCAD. But is it possible to generate G-code from IronCAD? Tool paths? Anything for CNC? Thanks
  6. FYI, If I have my phone plugged into my laptop and I start IC, it cannot obtain license. If I unplug my phone, IC can obtain license. So if you run into this "mysteriously" after installing a new device, unplug that new device, start IC and plug it back in. -JP
  7. This is how I had to do it. http://mintywhite.com/windows-7/7maintenan...command-prompt/ I did not try to rename the file. But this method deleted the file.
  8. I have been doing many drawings this past week. And have seen this happen, but I cannot consistently recreate the resorting behavior. But one thing that is consistent, if change the part number or the supplier of a part, you always have to go back in a resort the BOM. I think if you set sort preferences, it should always sort based on those preferences.
  9. We are using that... But each time you close and open the drawing and update the views it re-sorts the BOM in the default manner...
  10. Is there a way to change the default row sort. We currently sort our rows by Supplier then by Part numbers. Is there a way that I can set this sort preference as a default? Thanks
  11. Maybe this could be an enhancement request: Rename part and drawing file names from inside IronCAD.
  12. This particular file is on the network. I have tried to delete it from several machines, XP, Win 7, SBS 2008. I can open it in IC, save it. Then check it with Unlocker and Lockhunter and no locking handles are found. Then try and delete it and it says it is in use. What a pain.
  13. Thanks kevin. But I think we have a stubborn file on my hands. No locking handles found and lock hunter cannot delete it. Nice eh?
