I am reaching out to anyone who can provide anmation services.

Basically, I will create all the models and animations in IronCAD, but I cannot get a high quality animation out of IronCAD in addition to keeping the final file size manageable.

If anyone can take the completed IronCAD files and generate a nice high-end animation please contact me.

the end movie is to be used at trade shows by client.

thanks

Tom

Output the anim to a serie of images (.PNG). Then import the images to a video editor.

Set the time per pic to something like 0.04sec.

Then export it to some movie format of choice. use like 25 frames/ sec (RMB the editor to set) Peace of cake.

If you images is 800x600 then export the video to...yes 800x600. You should find out on what device the final video should be used on.

Many users export anims to like HD res witch many PCs don't have the power to show smoothly.

I use Magix Movie editor PRO (like 80$)

It is a must to have a video editor if you work with animations. The value of the resulting video is much higher with correct cutted videostrings, with logos, txt and even sound. You can animate to transparency for example.

Unfortunately I am currently overwhelmed by work. But maybe I can help with some advice:

1. Define the resolution of the image format: SD, HD, FULL HD .... PAL, NTSC

2. Set the scene in the aspect ratio that corresponds to the current resolution if you can not submit a maximum of your monitor see img 1. That will serve as a "Safeframe"

3. Check if animation is OK in "Safe frame" border limits.

4. Export animation as TGA images with settings - see img 2

That way you get a sequence of images that are easily inserted into any image editing program like Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, etc..

EDIT:

Robert overtook me smile.gif . Yes, you can use PNG also but make sure you check 24bit and generate alpha mask. That should provide transparent background. Usually, for some Video Editing Tools, only if imgs are 24bit.

Thank you both,

I have tried some free video editors but really dont have the time to learn them. If I have 3000 frames I could find anyway to make a "global" setting to them all.

Is it safe to stay that post-processing in a video editor takes a much time if not more than creating the animation to begin with?

Robert, I will try your suggested software if they have a trial and see how that goes.

cheers

Tom

Hi Guys

When I export to PNG or TGA's all I get are black images. Is there another setting I need to be considering?

thanks

Tom
