I wanted to get help for the command that I can type to the list.
The default settings are initially charged with:
C:\Program Files\IronCAD\2016\bin\CAXADraft\Config\pl-pl:SysSetting.xml
The problem is that the default settings of CAXA 2015 can not be imported into 2016. If you write config - ever code will be compatible.

Hi Dariusz,
We did use the v2015 config file for the v2016 installation (we have an extra Swedish customization installer instead of a complete single file sv-se version) and it seems to be working fine as far as I've seen.

If settings are note replaced, try removing all the files in this folder:
%localappdata%\CAXA\CAXA CAD CXIC 2016 (x64)\16.0\en-US\Config
Then start IC again.

The files and settings from the ...\Program Files\IronCAD\2016\bin\CAXA\Config folder will now again be copied to the directory above. Same kind of principle as with sheet metal tables and UI XML files.

Here's the Config.xml file that we're using: Attached File  SysSetting.xml ( 3.99k ) Number of downloads: 318

We've added more properties that text blocks and the BOM should read automatically (properties with Swedish labels etc) under the DftCfgSysParameter. It is also controlling the default template set (ISO / ANSI etc) - DefStandard 4 = ISO.

We've also added some more settings to the DftCfgProjection, such as default angle projection method (-1 = ISO) and transfering of 3D properties to the views (Cosmetic Thread lines, Sheet Metal Bend Lines etc).

Great!

As info, I used the files in the LocalAppData folder to understand which values I could copy to the Config.xml file. It seems like the first start up of IC adds a lot other values to the different XML files in the LocalAppData folder, not only from the Config.xml in the Program Files folder. So I tried adding more values in the Config.xml in the Program Files folder and it worked wink.gif
