VPN with Network License Manager?

Is anyone currently using a VPN to access an IronCAD license from home?

They key questions I have are:

Is it possible to use IronCAD Locally and then just license IronCAD using the VPN?

If so, What happens if the VPN is closed?

Will the license be locked to that computer or is there a time-out on the VPN to reallocate the license?

If not, what is the best way to access IronCAD from a computer at home when the license is on a Network License Manager at the office?

Thanks.

If the connection is broken the license will also be dropped. I'm not sure if it is instantly or after a few minutes. Maybe the license can be checked out at start and then checked back in at the end of the day?
