While this would be nice a more valuable tool would be one that allows you to turn hidden lines off in a specific part. Right know my only options are hide the part , turn off all of the hidden lines or live with all of the hidden lines. I get a lot of negative comments from my customers on the last option. Anything you could do in the next release would be appreciated.

I am looking for a way to open 2D ME10 files in Ironcad so I can make changes to the drawings. Does anyone know of a way to do this? Thanks Chuck

I am looking for a comparative test of ironcad v any other competitor especially solidworks. I need this info to help me prove that ironcad is as good or better than solidworks.

Hi irondudes my boss is looking for user manuals for Ironcad. In the past you used to send out upgrades to the manuals that we got during the Alventive days. We really could use some manuals similar to what exists for autocad. This would help out a great deal as we migrate to 100% Ironcad from our prior 2D system. Thanks Chuck

How is the performance? We are running hp visualize p3 500 mhz with 512 of ram. Weare having a lot of trouble with large assemblies in the 10=mb range. What rel. are you running?

Hi Corey I work for Kadant Web Systems in Auburn. The reason I was looking for local users is to see what problems other users are having also what type of hardware you are using. Dave & Joel when you created the 2D drawing is it comprised of sheet 1 & 2 or are they 2 distinct separate distinct drawings? If they are sheet 1 & 2 you may want to try saving them as separate distinct drawings and while in 2D do a control shift L to relink them to their respective models.

Chris I also reported a problem that when exporting a 2D drawing to a DXF file any dimensions that go across a boken view disappear. I was wondering if you have a fix for this yet.
