Robert Andersson Posted November 28, 2001 Share Posted November 28, 2001 Is there any options to import data from a electronic circuit design software, and to let IronCAD create 3D solids from that data? We have some customers asking for this option. It looks like it's often possible to create some kind of ASCII file from circuitdesign softwares. It would be very nice to see this information i 3D. tlehnhaeuser Posted January 10, 2002 Share Posted January 10, 2002 Robert, when we deal with electronic designers for our projects (These use a program called PADS) they supply us a dxf file which we use to generate 3D solids of just the major components on the PCB.
